The first sign to see if she likes you is if she blushes around you.
If only you knew.
Arthur took a deep breath, and walked up to (Name). She was talking with her friends and upon seeing him, her friends immediately dispersed.
He took this as a good sign. He took a deep breath and started talking to her. He noticed that her whole face, cheeks and nose even, were red. Very. Taking this as a good sign, he was in smiles when he finished talking to her. His eyebrows were crinkled downwards at seeing her wave to him at lunch. Her face was still red. He smiled, feeling his own face tint as well.
As soon as he was finished talking to her, she turned around and quickly pulled out a tissue. She sneezed. She loved winter because it was cold. Unfortunately, one of the only people in the world who prefers the cold just had to be allergic to the cold.
She sneezed again as she blew her nose so hard her friends thought it was a seat scraping against the floor. She hated the winter, because that's when her face was always red from irritation. She blew so hard and wiped her nose so vigorously, her skin was red from scraping too hard. Was Arthur's face so red because of allergies too? She wondered if he needed tips on how to deal with it.
She looked like Rudolph the Reindeer. And she hated the color red.
But hey, she would rather prefer the color red than black right now.

The second sign to see if she's the one, is if she always smiles at you.
It was whenever he saw her, she was looking at her best. She was always smiling, even if she had the worst day ever. Arthur admired that. She always looked at him with a indecipherable look; he hoped that it was kindness, or maybe even love. As he walked past her, she seemed to tilt her head towards him with a quirk of her lips. His heart sped up.
His face turned red.
He quickly turned away, not wanting anyone to see what feelings he harbored.
As soon as he left though, overwhelming sadness overcame her.
It had been years since she had last smiled. What? She just did, you say? But that was no smile. That was a mere upturning of the lips. She used it on everyone. And everyone fell for her feigned naivete and false innocence.
But whenever he came around, she could forget, even if it was just a tiny bit. She would've smiled a bit at the thought of this. But then again, her smile was a little rusty.

The third is to see whether or not she is comfortable around you.
Arthur cleared his throat before hesitantly knocking on her door. He straightened his hair (or tried to) and held his trusty checklist to see if she really liked him in his hand, hidden from any viewers on the outside.
They had a study session. Arthur blushed from the images placed in his head from reading Kiku's manga.
He had to shake it away quick. Blushing, tearing his mind off the track it was going, Arthur knocked a second time. And just when he was about to knock a third, she opened the door.
Clad in only a bathrobe, it was all Arthur could do without blushing. Well, at least, without thinking of her in...other ways of dress....
"Come on in!" You led him towards the living room, where you went upstairs and changed.
Arthur slunk into the couch soon after you left.
Comfortable was right.

The last step is to see if she's always looking at you.
Arthur couldn't understand. He had this feeling that he was being watched...and not by Flying Mint Bunny.
Looking around the classroom, he found (e/c) eyes searching his face, before you just grinned at him and turned away.
Arthur turned away, blushing. She definitely returned his feelings. Now to confess.
I mean, there wasn't anything on his face, right?
The class ended with an overly energetic Arthur running out of the class, smiling.
You were going to say something to him, but then realized that you would sound stupid.
I mean, telling the guy that you sort of liked that you thought his eyebrows were caterpillars at first wasn't good. Especially when said guy caught you staring at him.
But really.
They were caterpillars.
Maybe one day they would turn into butterflies. But then that would be weird. (-_-)

Well those are the steps! Congratulations, you lucky guy! The girl of your dreams likes you back! What are you doing?! Go and ask her out!
Arthur now stood in front of you, cheeks perpetually red as he stuttered over his words.
"I-I-I..I can't do this!"
Arthur turned away, yet he made no other movement.
Taking a deep breath, he turned around and screamed at you.
"I LOVE YOU AND I KNOW YOU LOVE ME TOO!"
Well that was a wonderful way of confessing, Arthur thought with a slump. Now even if you liked him he wouldn't be your boyfriend.
You blushed and accepted his confession though, much to his surprise.
However, inside your head you were thinking about how indiscreet you weren't being if even he could figure it out.
You had thought that you hadn't given him any hints at all.

AmericaxReader Never Been Kissed
(Name) and Alfred had been friends for years. Since they were in grade school. Fifth grade, field trip, where for the first time in human history the teacher-oriented 'buddy-system' actually had worked out for the best. She had been a shy tomboy and he was a rough and tumble guy, they hit it off right away.
"I've never met a girl like you." A young Alfred said shocked that (Name) thought volcanoes were cool because they "exploded" too.
"Betcha never will again." She teased.
Boy was that ever the truth. As the years went on and they went through the usual trials of a multi-gendered friendship, it was proven time and time again that Alfred w

Denial: England x Dead!Reader
Denial is a funny thing. It can twist up the past, crumple things up, and alter your perspective. Arthur did really see the other car coming towards him.
He did hear your scream pierce his ears.
He did see you cover your bulging stomach quickly, a small attempt to protect his and your unborn child. Squinting your once beautiful (e/c) eyes in expectation, you braced for impact.
And he saw the bright crimson blood splatter wildly against the windshield before it shattered.
Arthur could see all the beer bottles left shattered around the car as well. As he saw that, he vomited, the retching inspiring gut wrenching pain in his side.
But Arthu

Sure Thing, Love (EnglandxReader)
"Where the bloody hell is she?"
Arthur paced around his living room, gripping his chin in aggravation, wondering where his missing girlfriend was. He gently massaged his temples, trying to calm down from his worries.
Where was Arthur's girlfriend, exactly?
-Time Reverse 6 Hours-
(Y/n) was currently sitting in the room she and Arthur shared, applying a rosy red lipstick on her plump lips. She had made plans to go out with some long time friends from her home of (hometown).
"Are you going out tonight, love?"
Arthur stood outside the room, leaning on the door frame. (Y/n) looked at Arthur from her mirror and smiled.
"Yeah. A couple of my
